Sonam, the daughter of Anil Kapoor , who makes her debut in Sanjay Leela Bhansali ’s Saawariya , has reportedly confirmed doing Delhi 6 that will be directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra , who last made the mega hit Rang De Basanti . Incidentally, while the casting of the male lead took Mehra quite a while and there was much speculation, the director was quite clear about the choice of his female lead.

So, while Abhishek was the original choice for the film, due to initial date problems, the film allegedly went to Hrithik Roshan .

but now reports are that the junior Bachchan is indeed doing the film.
