The towel dropping shot in the number “Jab se tere naina” has been cut by the censor board.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali is not complaining because it is not harm for his creativity in film.

The director of the film, Sanjay Leela Bhansali is believed to have preferred the “U” certificate to keeping the nude shot of Ranbir in his movie. He did not want loose out a large chunk of his audience.

According to Sanjay Leela Bhansali,  many members of the board who saw the film loved it and were also of the opinion that he should accept the cut and take a “U” certificate.

The Censor Board did offer Sanjay and his team the choice of an Adult certificate with the shot included in the film.But the filmmaker didn’t want to lose an extremely large and crucial portion of the potential audience for one shot.
