Music of much-awaited ‘Saawariya’, which is debut film of two star children, was released at a grand function in Mumbai.

In a big bang launch, the star kids who play the lead role were introduced to the media at the function. Ranbir and Sonam were escorted on stage by Salman Khan and Rani Mukherji.

Rishi Kapoor, father of Ranbir, and Anil Kapoor, father of Sonam, formally released the music of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s latest extravaganza.

The event also witnessed Salman Khan and Rani Mukherji introducing the much anticipated actors Ranbir Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor, to guests and media.

The movie not only marks the debut of Ranbir and Sonam, but also of the music director Monty Sharma. Sharma has previously scored background music for Black and Devdas.

Rani Mukherjee heaped lavish praises on Monty for making great music. Actor Salman Khan, who has a cameo in the film, also appreciated the songs.

Anil Kapoor, Sonam’s father who plays the female protagonist in the movie, was at a loss of words to express his happiness.

Rishi Kapoor, the chocolate hero of yesteryears, urged the audience with folded hands to bless his son Ranbir, who plays male protagonist in the movie, in the same way as they have been doing for the Kapoor family for the last many decades.
