Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Saawariya movie to release on 9 November 2007
The master storyteller Sanjay Leela Bhansali is almost ready with his latest movie – Saawariya. About 1 and half month to go, Saawariya has started hogging news space on the media.
After a track record of films like Khamoshi, Devdas and Black his fans certainly have a lot of expectation from this director. Overwhelmed by the tremendous response, Bhansali has gone on record that he, too, is aware of the expectations people have from him.
A ninety second promo (trailer) released almost a month ago has created a flutter amongst the movie goers.
The promo has plenty of glimpses of the lead characters but not once can you see their faces. The master storyteller Sanjay has beatifully managed to create a nostalgic aura. It is an underlined statement depicting innocence and passion. I was certainly left wanting for more.
The lead roles are being played by Ranbir Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor. This is the first movie for both of them. Ranbir is the son of Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh whereas Sonam is the daughter of Anil.
Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s latest movie is scheduled to be released on 9 November. Sony Pictures is planning to release the movie in more than 700 theatres in India and in about 800 around the world.
