Loading ...Dilip Kumar’s sister-in-law to make a comeback in saawariya
After 50 years, yesteryear actress Begum Para (who is now 80 years young) is all set to make a comeback with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Saawariya’. Begum Para is mother of actor Ayub Khan and sister-in law of thespian Dilip Kumar. She was last seen in the movie ‘Kar Bhala’ (1956) with Bhagwan Dada.
‘Saawariya’ stars Sonam Kapoor (Anil Kapoor’s daughter) and Ranbir Kapoor (Rishi Kapoor’s son) in the lead roles. Para plays Sonam’s grandmother in the film.
Interestingly enough, it is believed that Begum Para was a Rakhi sister of Ranbir’s grandfather Raj Kapoor. She says that after all these years she is glad to be back in films and working with Raj Kapoor’s grandson.
